Valery Dronsky, MD, FACS, is a well-versed general and laparoscopic surgeon who diagnoses and treats patients as founding partner of Lenox Hill Surgeons LLP in New York, NY. Previously, he served with General and Laparoscopic Surgeons of New York LLP. The practice began as Surgical Associates of New York LLP in 2009 and regrouped as General and Laparoscopic Surgeons of New York LLP in 2012. As a general surgeon, he has dedicated training and unique experience to provide surgical treatment for issues of the abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland. Valery Dronsky, MD, FACS, attended Russian State Medical University in Moscow, Russia, and received his medical degree in 1988. He then served as faculty member at Russian State Medical University prior to relocating to the United States, where he completed clinical research at UCSF California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. In addition, Dr. Dronsky conducted his residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and SUNY Downstate Medical Heath Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. He performed his minimally invasive laparoscopic fellowship training at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He received board certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery.
